Run by SFEDI, and part funded by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), it is free for all businesses to join and provides resources and case studies designed specifically with small businesses in mind to help them connect and ask questions in the national online community.
They offer a package of support for Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and Growth Hubs including:
• Developing a map of the UK regions which links to sources of support in that region. LEP and Growth Hub Apprenticeship support can be profiled here.
• A regional group in the Apprenticemakers community to encourage and support networking, best practice sharing and contact sharing amongst apprentice employers. Administered by a local contact with national support from Apprenticemakers.
• Accredited training courses designed to create a group of Apprenticeship Champions, provide tools and resources for Apprenticeship Champions (additional costs for courses).
• Events to bring together Apprenticeships Champions, Training Providers and Small Businesses to discuss apprenticeships in a speed networking format.
